Guest talk: From Good Friday to a New Ireland, Ulster University, October 23 2025 Hosted by the Politics Society at Ulster University Emma spoke about the role of civil society in the Good Friday Agreement and any future referendum on Irish unity. Civil society quietly prepared the ground for decades before the Good Friday Agreement vote, much of this work still remains unseen. Today , that work is needed again to prepare people North and South for a vote on unification.
