Left Bank Summer School, Dublin, July 19, 2025

What would a unified social democratic Ireland look like and how can we achieve it?

Emma was delighted to join Professor John Barry and SDLP opposition leader Matthew O'Toole for a lively discussion on a new Ireland. Expertly chaired by Senator Patricia Stephenson this panel focused on social democratic values, Emma laid out her vision for Irish unity and the importance of deliberative democracy processes such as a national dialogue model to build wider public consensus.

The Left Bank Summer School sounds like a fantastic opportunity for people to exchange ideas, learn from experienced speakers, and engage in meaningful discussions. Events like these often inspire participants to think more critically and explore new perspectives beyond the classroom. They can also help students build valuable academic and communication skills. For those balancing event participation with coursework, Assignment Writing Services in Cork may provide additional academic support when deadlines become challenging. Thanks, Assignment Help, for highlighting this event. Which session or speaker do you think attendees found the most insightful this year?
