Transatlantic Leadership for Global Resolution
Who We Are
Ceannas House — the Irish word for leadership — is a transatlantic institute for policy innovation and conflict resolution. Operating at the critical intersection of Ireland and the United States, we are an independent non-profit dedicated to navigating high-stakes political conflict. We provide expertise and infrastructure at the intersection of strategic risk mitigation, expert policy development, and deliberative democracy.
Our Mission
Our goal is to mitigate strategic political risk, foster next-generation leadership, and engineer creative policy solutions that overcome historical deadlock. We believe that peace is not merely the absence of violence, but the presence of robust, inclusive, and actionable governance.
The Ceannas Approach
Strategic Risk Mitigation
Identifying and de-escalating political flashpoints before they reach systemic failure
Policy Architecture
Developing technical, data-driven frameworks that bridge the gap between high-level diplomacy and everyday governance
Deliberative Democracy
Utilizing advanced public participation models to build "social license" for difficult political decisions
Governance & Independence
Ceannas House, Inc. is a registered non-profit in the United States. We are governed by an independent Board of Trustees committed to absolute transparency and the highest ethical standards in nonprofit management.
Our independence is our greatest asset, allowing us to serve as a neutral platform for back-channel diplomacy and innovative policy design.
Programmes
We recognize that modern political challenges require more than traditional diplomacy. We action our strategic pillars through a variety of programs, including:
Transatlantic Leadership — The Fellowship Programme
At the heart of Ceannas House is the Transatlantic Fellowship Programme. This flagship initiative has established itself as a proven success with 35 leaders supported over the course of 3 years.
Public Participation
Ceannas House recognizes that political deadlock is often a failure of elite-level imagination. We mitigate the risk of institutional collapse by building social cohesion through public participation.
Global Conflict Resolution and Risk Mitigation
Ceannas House serves as a bridge between the Irish model and global friction points to provide expert analysis and strategic interventions.
