EMMA DESOUZA

Emma DeSouza is a civic innovation specialist, peacebuilding and human rights consultant, and an accomplished writer and political commentator. She changed UK law in a high-profile human rights court case and works across media, politics, and civic society in Ireland, Europe, and the United States. She led in the creation of the first All-island Women's Forum, founded the deliberative democracy platform the Civic Initiative, and is the Director of the Northern Ireland Emerging Leaders Program with the National Committee on American Foreign Policy in New York.
